I wasn’t sure what to expect, but these roasted coffee candies honestly reminds me of what a good cup of Tim Hortons coffee used to taste like before things changed. They’ve got that smooth, slightly toasty coffee flavour that’s not too bitter or overly sweet, which I really enjoy. I’ve even found myself having one while drinking my morning coffee because it adds a deeper coffee note, kind of enhancing the whole experience. It’s like getting an extra sip of the flavour I want without needing a second cup. They’re individually wrapped too, so easy to keep on hand. A nice classic coffee taste that hits the right spot.
These are hard, black coffee tasting candies. They last about 5 minutes if you can resist biting them. Nice that they are individually wrapped. They are a nice change from caramel or peppermint flavours.
So I have to say I finished these. They are like instant coffee hard candies. If you like that sort of flavour you'll love these.
These candies are sweeter than other coffee candies I’ve tried in the past. The flavor is smooth and mellow. I personally would have preferred a bit more bitterness or a deeper roast flavor. Still, they’re tasty in their own way and I do enjoy having them.Likes:- Sweet, smooth flavor.- Individually wrapped- Good as a quick snack.Dislikes:- Not very strong in coffee flavor.- Preferably, more bitterness or roast depth would be nice.
These coffee candies are not bad. They’re not too sweet and has a real brewed coffee flavor. I think the flavor can be stronger and more intense as I have had other coffee candies that are much stronger. They are good for a small candy bowl on the coffee table or in the office or reception waiting area.
